“I think I’ll drive back, but thanks. It’s kind of relaxing.” Jo gives the metal beneath her an affectionate pat like it was a pet or small child before looking back at the angel with a grateful smile. “You don’t need to push it, I’m happy to make my own way and I’m sure you have other things you should save your energy for.”
He nods. “Alright.” If there’s one thing he’ll never understand, it’s humans and their love for cars. They’re highly restricting for a being with wings, and bumpy too. “Don’t hesitate to call if you need anything.” With that, Castiel takes off in a flutter of feathers.
Jo was used to the disappearances by now of the people around her, packing and storing away her little bowl of things - glad she didn’t need them and for now deciding she wouldn’t try using them next time at all - before taking a few more minutes to relax out in the quiet before heading back to town.
